During the event, the main actors in the security sector met and companies and persons, that have been decisive for the company recognition as a leader in intelligent IP video solutions, were honoured.
After a brief review of its 20 years of history, marked by technological innovation and commitment to its customers, SCATI took the opportunity to thank all companies and persons that have been decisive for the company growth, such as Grupo Santander, Grupo BBVA and Telefónica, among others.
During the event, the company shared with visitors some of its most successful cases and presented its Business Intelligence solutions applied to video, such as facial recognition, people and row counting, heat maps and advanced solutions for video transmission on board with GPS positioning.
This event is part of the 20th anniversary celebrations that SCATI is carrying out with its customers at the global level in destinations such as Egypt and Brazil.

SCATI Business Intelligent Solution
Facial recognition is the perfect solution to completment your video surveillance systems by allowing you to identify people and verify their access to an installation in real-time.
Part of SCATI’s deep learning product range, the system captures faces in a non-collaborative way and compares them with those in the database automatically; sending alarms in real time to the control center in case the person is not authorized to access the installation.

The project aims to cover the security of the university campus, buildings and perimeter and minimise the cost of security personnel, as well as to prevent theft and vandalism.
The main campus of the university is located in a city located 600 km from Cairo. Founded in 1995, this Egyptian university comprises 18 faculties and 1 institute.
The objective of its Security Department is to guarantee the security of its installations and the people that use them, as well as to reduce the costs associated with security personnel. To do so, the university will embark on this ambitious project in the middle of 2016, which entails establishing demanding technical and functional requirements.
