The Spanish company has completed its sales force in Spain with the addition of Santiago Dacuña as Key Account Manager
SCATI, a company that specialises in intelligent security solutions, has completed its sales force in the Spanish market by appointing telecommunications engineer Santiago Dacuña as its new Key Account Manager (KAM) & Business Development for the region. The Spanish company thus reinforces its position in the security sector, where it has been present for nearly 20 years and during which time it has become a leading security company in the Latin American market.
Mr. Dacuña joins the staff of this internationally oriented company from Aragón to consolidate its sales project in Spain. Mr. Dacuña has a degree in Telecommunications awarded by the Polytechnic University of Valencia and completed his education with an MBA in sales management from the Business School in Madrid. Mr. Dacuña's professional career began in the Southern Cone, where he worked as a engineer in Biomedicine in the Universidad Rio Grande Do Sul, in Brazil.
After his experience in Brazil, Mr. Dacuña held various positions in the French firm Telècom. From the firm's offices in Paris he set his sights on the world of video surveillance, which he has been dedicated to for the last seven years. Mr. Dacuña is fully aware of the security needs of public and private institutions and will add his talent to the SCATI sales team to “showcase SCATI video surveillance solution versus the increasing inroads being made by low-cost products in the Spanish market”.
In his own words, working for SCATI will give him the opportunity to "propose global solutions for the needs of clients in the Spanish market, which is currently in the midst of recovery". He also hopes that in the coming months "sales in the security sector will return to levels not seen since 2012".
