SCATI, manufacturer of intelligent IP video solutions incorporates the K series in its portfolio of video recorders.
Based on IP technology and within the VISION SUITE, this equipment has an integrated PoE switch with up to 24 PoE ports, to facilitate the implementation of the cameras connected directly to the equipment, which provides significant cost savings, and is expandable up to 64 IP channels through recording licenses with full availability.
The K series has 8 front 3.5″ SATA Hot Swap (or hot plug) disks that allow you to connect / disconnect your hard drives without shutting down the computer, which avoids damaging the storage unit internally and ensures its continuous operation and has up to 80TB of storage.
Its design maximizes uninterrupted operation in the event of failures by implementing hardware redundancy in its components and RAID 5 storage configuration, making it ideal for mission-critical video surveillance operations.
As the recording needs are different in each project and in each customer, using cameras of higher or lower resolution, having to record for longer or shorter periods of time, continuously or by events, all SCATI VISION recorders allow configurable storage with disks specifically manufactured for use in video surveillance. In addition, they are part of a fully scalable solution and are designed to work with any ONVIF camera.
The K series devices use H.265 compression algorithms, which allows the images to be stored in less storage (up to 40% less compared to other manufacturers using H.264) and the transmission of images over the network can be done in a much lighter and smoother way.
Like all VISION SUITE video recorders, the K series incorporates functionalities that allow continuous monitoring of their health and operation and, in the event that a failure is detected, to notify technical alarms; and they are also capable of simultaneously serving multiple clients and limiting the transmission of information according to the available bandwidth.
SCATI confirms that all its products and systems comply with the requirements of the US NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) and are 100% compliant.
SCATI also declares, by means of the CE marking (Conformité Européenne) of the European Union, that its products comply with the minimum safety requirements set out in the applicable directives.
