The company has renewed this certification, which allows optimising research, develpment and innovation processes, based on well-known management system structures
SCATI, a company that specializes in comprehensive IP video solutions, has obtained certification for the new version of Standard UNE 166002, which came into force in 2014. This is a new step forward in the optimisation of research, development and innovation processes, based on well-known management system structures.
SCATI thereby keeps the commitment it undertook in 2004. This commitment has been essential to the company's constant development and has made it possible for the company to master the processes involved in obtaining the certificates awarded by the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR) for over ten years. The result is quality and company improvement, which redounds in the quality of its products and services.
The new version of Standard UNE 166602 marks "an evolution in the structure of the standard, making it more accessible to everyone and adapting it to the real needs of companies", as explained by Blanca Grilló, SCATI's Quality Director.
Standard UNE 166002 contains practical requirements and directives for the formulation and development of R+D+i policies, to establish goals that are in line with specific SCATI activities, projects and services and to identify emerging technologies. This management system certificate opens the way to systematize its R+D+i activities and integrate them in the overall management of the company.
As a result, SCATI can demonstrate the transparency of its R+D+i activities, providing added value and improving its corporate image and competitiveness.
