The new version of its video surveillance platform enlarges the range of video management possibilities for its clients
SCATI, a company specialised in comprehensive IP video solutions, offers greater flexibility in recording quality selection with the option of setting up lead time parameters. This allows the user to view high quality video up to 15 minutes before the sensor is triggered.
These new features allow the Spanish company to offer a series of recording improvements, ranging from optimising disk space without missing any details to bandwidth management by recording and transmitting through various configuration parameters.
When using SCATI EYE cameras and cameras that support the ONVIF S Profile with two or more video streams (dual or tri-stream), SCATI VISION can be configured to capture two video profiles with different settings (recording speed, resolution, image quality and bitrate).
The new version allows the user to select the video flow for continuous recording and for recording by sensor or event independently in each camera and for each different time period. The user can also choose the flow for real-time transmission to remote clients. This optimises transmission from locations with smaller bandwidth, such as wireless networks, without compromising recording quality.
Recording by sensor or event can be activated by any criterion (e.g., movement detection, alarm inputs, intelligent video analysis) and separately for each camera or time interval. In addition, all sensors and events can be programmed separately up to 15 minutes in advance and 60 minutes afterwards.
These are only some of the new features of the SCATI SUITE 5.0. version. This version guarantees real-time client access to video, and provides a greater number of video management options, thereby obtaining greater security and reliability in any installation.
