Aug 27, 2012

After the installation of over 4,000 DVR’s in the BBVA subsidiaries in Latin America, the Peruvian entity, has entrusted the security of its 300 branches to Scati´s video surveillance solutions

Scati, specialist manufacturer in CCTV solutions, has proven again to be the leading company in video surveillance solutions for financial entities thanks to its powerful management tools for large parks of video recorders.

The solution proposed by Scati for the CCTV meets the needs raised by BBVA Continental and adds value due to differentiators as Scati Cash and applications designed especially for BBVA Group. Since 2005, these solutions have been implanted in more than 2000 branches (Bancomer – Mexico), 400 entities and 200 ATM´s (BBVA Colombia) and in BBVA Provincial of Venezuela with more than 400 branches and ATM´S.

Its different proposal is based on the comprehensive management of any facility which requires video surveillance, allowing image management both in real time and video recorded from a single Control Center.

Scati Suite functionalities allow among others:
  • Ease the massive upgrade of large DVR/NVR parks to keep systems at the technological forefront and always know its status.
  • Actively monitoring possible technical failures for real time control of incidents in the branches. That way the system guarantees the availability of video to the end user.
  • Ability to perform multitasks from the video management application Scati Watcher from different sessions can be started by different users.
  • Ability to carry out simultaneous image requests from Scati Watcher and Scati Round to different DVRs or even the same one.
  • Maximizing the bandwidth on slow or limited networks, using video resizing for downloading video recorded or monitoring real time video.
  • Ability to integrate other security systems by means of the alarm hub application Scati Hub. It’s able to receive and redirect third party standard XML alarms and associated them with active monitoring at the control center.
  • Combine analog and IP technology thanks to Scati Vision hybrid systems.
  • Scati Vision servers includes by default intelligent video analytics, as tempering or intelligent video motion sensors.
The company is going to introduce its specific solutions for ATMs at the Banking Security Conference CELAES 2012 in Miami (Florida). The event will take place on coming days 20th and 21st of September.
